Christmas in Baan GerdaYes, it may seem a little odd that the children are celebrating Christmas. Thailand after all, is predominantly a Buddhist country and that's how the children have been raised. The truth is, the Thais love a good festival even if it isn't their own. It's probably the only country in the world that celebrates new year three times; Gregorian, Buddhist and Chinese.

Seasons greetings from all of the children in Baan Gerda!

0 I saw that there are many places that have Christmas decorations in Thailand. It must be commercialism. Still, the kids look happy.

0 I recieved the movie "Living with the Tiger" in the mail. I cannot remember for the life of me who sent it to me. I live in Laurel, Maryland (USA). I run a blog called, "Justin's HIV Journal". I watched the movie and fell head over heels with all the children there in Baan Gerda. So full of life and wonder. One boy fascinated me and his name is Oy. I would love to be able to go there and meet all these children. I wish I had funding to. Beautiful children Beautiful Spirit and a Beautiful movie. LOVE
