+3 It would be easy to be put off the film if you knew before hand that it's about AIDS, but it isn't what you expect. Congratulations on making such an inspiring film.

0 As someone living with HIV for the last 7 years, I genuinely believe that the film can help tackle the problem of stigma that exists in every country. Good luck with your efforts and I shall do my best to help promote the film. It deserves to be seen by a wide audience.

0 What I liked most was that the story was compelling and there was never a dull moment. It didn't feel like nearly 90 mins.

0 It's not often a documentary is so profoundly moving. A wonderful story from a very special group of children. It certainly brings in to question our judgemental attitude towards those who have HIV.

+1 The children are just so adorable and Baan Gerda looks like a wonderful place for them to live. Nice that there are people so dedicated to looking after them. It would be great to have a follow-up because I'd love to know how the kids get on. :-)

0 The difficult part for me when I viewed this film was watching the young man's family chiding him for not visiting them.. it was that whole "blame the victim" thing, and his discomfort and confusion was apparent. Same story all around the world about HIV/AIDS. I applaud the filmakers and this project. If I can be of as...sistance in promoting it in Australia, I would be glad.

0 This film captures the essence of the Baan Gerda children, all ‘living with the tiger’ of HIV/AIDS and, through the eyes of 3 of the children, how they can overcome this stigma and take their place in regular society. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, I hope it gets the publicity it deserves.

0 I saw the evening screening at NIST yesterday and throughly enjoyed the film. It was moving and entertaining. I thought that it ultimately had an uplifting sensibility. I brought my 10 yr old daughter and on the way home she was laughing about the scene with the boys and their fighting fish and the one boy with his Morning Glory earnings going to buy snacks for him and his friend. I think if one of the goals is to show people that kids living with HIV are still kids, it's scenes like this that really do that.

0 A touching, very well done film. Congratulations to all involved. Baan Gerda is a gift to the children and to all of Thailand. This film has the power to change attitudes of the public and impact those living with HIV/AIDS in a very big way. Thank you for sharing it with me. I will pass it on.

+1 Watch this movie to:
Reset your life’s values
Appreciate your life
Enjoy your life more by seeing how to worry less
Laugh and cry at the same time – no matter how humorless or tough you are
Learn how to significantly help others simply by ignoring incorrect preconceptions
Experience Thailand in a way that you would otherwise never see
Be entertained by a remarkable movie that will stand apart from any movie you have seen, and it is set to music – believe it or not.

The film maker followed a group of extraordinary kids, who were sent to a hospice to die of HIV, but they lived and they thrive. Now the hospice is the children’s family village. Unfortunately, living presents the children with a tougher option than dying; that of being allowed to have a life when society treats them like lepers.

These small souls are fighting prejudice and ignorance that would be soul destroying to those less resilient than our little heroes.
Let these beautiful children with good hearts show you how easy it would be to help them make their lives fulfilling (no money required). As repayment to you, their story will make you a happier person.

Enjoy a warm introduction to the wonderful people who have saved the children’s lives and whose mission is to help the children make the most of the gift of life.

Yes, the movie is musical, inspirational, feel good, tear-jerking, laugh forcing, documentary follow-the-life , even with some opera. This is a movie about kids who beat incredible odds to survive.

See the movie and fall in love with the little heroes.

0 I recently saw this inspirational film and enjoyed it from beginning to end. It touched emotions and gave a good insight of what children are truly going through with no fault of their own. But it also showed their strong spirits despite the card they were dealt in life - that you can overcome and still maintain a positive attitude and live productive lives. I also liked the flow of the movie as well as the music. Thank you for sharing this story.
